At Broadbottom CE(VC) Primary we encourage our children to be expressive and imaginative. The Art and Design curriculum is based around The Dimensions Curriculum and taught through thematic units. This approach helps pupils to develop the skills and knowledge required in art, whilst also making connections with other subjects and themes. At Broadbottom Art and Design is used to help our children understand societies, cultures and histories, as well as express their own thoughts and feelings through a range of mediums, including collage, textiles, photography, drawing, painting, 3D form and sculpture as well as mixed media.

We pride ourselves in developing pupils confidence and  individual artistic styles, which are celebrated in our community art gallery.
